General description

A cell-permeable, adenosine-substituted, isoindolinone compound that acts as a potent inhibitor of PARP-1 (IC₅₀ = 45 nM). Shown to offer cytoprotective effects against oxidative damage in cells and in in vivo models of reperfusion injury and inflammation.
